How to build a website for users to register? What kind of hosting plan should I buy?

I need to make a website for my uncle%26#039;s business. He wants me to design it in such a way so that his new customers can register and serve the website. In this way, he will have the contact details of all his online customers.

I%26#039;m experienced in designing simple web pages and always use free domains and hosting. Now, i need to do a .com website or .com.sg website which i need some assistance in.

Help please...........

How to build a website for users to register? What kind of hosting plan should I buy?

If you want to make a log in system you will need some sort of a data base(MySQL works yes) and then you%26#039;ll also need a way to have your server communicate with the clients and process their data(that would be PHP). You%26#039;ll need to make some research and reading for those to learn how to use them and also some little details like crypting the passwords etc.

For a .com or w/e website you just need to register a domain name. Not much to do there, once you register it just sign it with your host and all should be good.

Once you have those down rest is simple design which it seems you%26#039;re familiar with :)

PHP and MySQL are needed.

Buy domain from namecheap.

You can try webhosts like http://www.aplis.net/

Other Replys:Got to http://www.LocoDomains.com and get Linux hosting, do not get Windows hosting.

Other Replys:see, the hosting firms do have a very simple solutions for our complicated problems..

what you are asking for is done by a very simple web publishing account,,the more quality u want the better program u ask from that company. But go for a quality hostr only,if u want something longterm and output oriented.

Buying a domain name and web host?

Does it matter where I purchase my domain name and web host? If it does, why?

Buying a domain name and web host?

it really doesnt matter too much. But it depends on how big your site will be so you%26#039;ll need a certain amount of space (mb, gb, etc.) Godaddy.com is a good place for domain purchase and web host so check them out.

You can pretty much choose any source for domain and / or hosting.

You are best to find a good hosting company to suit your needs first. They will then give you Name Server address%26#039;s that you need to point your domain to when it is registered.

You should be able to get .com type domains for around US$10 or less, and hosting will rely on what you are wanting to host, type of services your site will need etc.

Give more details and we can provide greater advice.

Most people can get away with %26#039;shared hosting%26#039; this is the cheapest method of hosting meaning you share a server with many other sites.

I%26#039;ve registered around 50 domains and hosting and it pays to do your research. I am happy to share my prefered sources if it is allowed (not sure of policy as still new to this)

Other Replys:For hosting, you need something reliable. I can advise you that 1and1.com, IPowerweb.com and NetworkSolutions.com are not reliable, all 3 have horrible customer service and takes forever for a resolution to your problem, with 1and1 and IPower you can wait in excess of 6 weeks just for a reply.

Over the Labor Day weekend one of my clients sites went down, 7 days later IPower, still had not figured it out. Client switched hosting to GoDaddy.com. GoDaddy has provided me excellent customer service, 100% uptime, no issues. Whichever representative answers the call they take ownership and assist you all the way through. I also never waited more than 15 seconds to speak to their staff.

Since My client moved to GoDaddy.com, I transferred my 3 personal sites, and 16 other clients sites to GoDaddy.com. And I have registered 9 new domains. In the 2 months. The folks at Go Daddy have been nothing but wonderful, it has been nothing but Peace for my clients and I.

Check out link below an read some of the comments and make your own educated decision.

Other Replys:It depends on what your requirements are. It閳ユ獨 easy to get a basic hosting plan for $6 or so a month. If you know how to develop a website GoDaddy has several plans to choose from with excelent customer service.

If you need website development help I would suggest Site Sell. A little more expensive however they walk you through the development process step-by-step.

What is the best domain name host? its time for a change.?

register.com is fairly easy and affordable. You can pay by the year or get cheaper rates by paying several years at a time.
