Are there any free web hosting sites that actually let you customize them?

I%26#039;m trying to make a site, but I want to be able to customize it. Every free hosting site i%26#039;ve seen so far all have pre-made layouts that I%26#039;m not really interested in using. I want something that I can actually use (like with HTML, photoshop, etc.) and have fun with. I dont mind if there would have to be something like %26quot;.googlepages.com%26quot; attached to the domain name. i just dont want to have to pay and i want a decent amount of freedom.

does such a thing exist?

I do place a Banner at the Top and Bottom of the page. (No Popups). It is free and you can upload your own content (Made with any SiteEditing tool)

I also give a free domain (.com name) if you hit over 1500 hits per month

Remember, you get what you pay for, so you should choose at least a host that asks you to pay for the services!
