Help to cofigure my windows xp for hosting my website and i have domain name and static ip, guide me?
For hosting a webpage you nedd the following things
1. Webserver application ( MS IIS,Apache.....etc)
2. Put the page in the application wepage directoy( once you install the webserver appl.its easy to find)
3. I guess you have mapped your domain name to the Static IP, now u check browising that ip from the same system to which it is assigned using I explorer. All the best.
Above all steps are great for our knowledge and here i learned about this concept a lot.Register a Domain
