If I have registered my public domain names with go daddy, how can I make sure icann is informed of

I was hosting through go daddy and have registered my domain name from there. I now want to set up my own web server, and want to know how to notify icann about the dns server ip address change. Do I just have to contact icann directly and modify this?

Go Daddy is an accredited registrar for ICANN. So, it should already be taken care of for you. Take a look on their site if you have questions on it.
