Everyone who has answered here so far has great suggestions, but please be careful when going to low cost domain name registrars! Anyone who owned a domain name through Registerfly most likely lost their domain, or had to go through lots of headache trying to get it back.
It%26#039;s worth a few bucks to stick with a company that is well respected in the industry. Network Solutions, Register.com, and GoDaddy are the way to go.
Of these 3 options, GoDaddy is probably your best bet. They have .com names at $8.95, and if you use coupon code gdm0606c (it expires end of day today, 6/15/07), you can get the same domain name signup for $6.95.
